I am going to seek out 14 artists (well 13 and myself) to include on a live Mixtape. I have yet to find an artist that has a live show recording up here - other than myself. So, all recommendations are welcome. #####Shameless plug###### I need a few reviews. If anybody has time. Thanks, (~jeremy~)
If you visit this post then please visit one of my other passions. http://mydauntingtask.blogspot.com It's just another 'hair brained' idea. I have been mulling over all of my life. (~jeremy~)
A hard thing to do, is place a word into a tune. And even more difficult is to build a tune around a word - a concept - a feeling. The most difficult thing to do is wait for some meaning to come. This wait is coupled with the anguish that is brought on from the strength of the content and context of the song. For instance the following line: 'These are my hands.' To follow this I would probably run through the gambit of ideas like: help, hurt, hold, heal yada yada yada. Those...
The list of Recent Visitors shows up as does the comments and Recommendations. What needs to happen there is an image coding scheme for the recommendations - that section should be split for quick reference as to the songs that have actually been played perhaps by listener or just a culmination of song plays. This would be more intuitive I think. A quick reference on one page. With fan activity, Recent listeners and importantly to an artist and a label - what is being listened to. But, for now...
Music is mathematical. That is a statement which needs no introduction. Scales, modes, octaves are all mathematical components of the aggregate of music. All art forms are expressions of a humans compulsion to approach that which is coldly mathematical. As man, we must measure things. We categorize our music - label our cans - price our liquids - and derive meaning from scrawlings on paper, pinholes, and even light. We give spectral phenonmenon names such as "red", "blue"...
these are the pieces of your life that you have scorched and scattered is this the reason why you turn your eyes away like broken hands that can not force incessant teeth from chatter your lips coat words across a wrinkled lying face just bits and pieces of me somehow that's all that matters were i to carry on attempts to run away these are my necessary elements all of the pieces of my soul i try to read along the page of life so torn and tattered indignant time will never...
so for a while we think or we think we think anyway for a while then for quite some time we think we think about the time spent thinking about time for a while and if we take too long thinking about time and the time it takes to think about time then we waste our time oh dear, that is entirely improper. Sometimes, just sometimes...I want to scream so loud that the paint on the walls peels away and allows me to see the framework. Oh, it's there, it's just covered up. Sometimes, just sometimes...I want to stare so long that grays all change back to black and white the print no longer smears. Oh, it will, it most definitely will. Sometimes, just sometimes...I want to sit so still that my bones would literally jump through my skin and take off down the road. Oh, they would, and they...
anticipated faces alive with sweat blue eyes tracing contours swaying in a dance soft notes hang above the night sky calling wide awake and lost some place warm but not too cozy in a thick fog blanketed by the ocean floating forever in her one sweet kiss alive but close to death i hang on for the e-ticket ride permitted into the space where she lets no one else go a piece of mind to share but never own tranquility in a wine glass portioned ever-so-slightly before...
This site would be much better with user css capability.
A note is the lemma for a musician just as a word is the lemma for a linguist, and an unspoken word is a lemma for the psycholinguist. It derives a meaning at conception. How profound, some humans do that also. =) More coffee sir.
I will constantly be adding new material to this site. So check back often.
Apparently I am not limited to the number of songs that I can upload to this site. So, I can put many of them up here.

Warning!
Are you sure?
